Situated between Market Drayton, Whitchurch and Telford, the Bear at Hodnet is a 16th century coaching inn offering a wide range of facilities for private and corporate guest.
The building has the enticing character of a bygone age whilst providing the comforts and amenities of the 21st century. To make your visit even more special there is a friendly ghost called Jasper and a former Bear Pit with secret passages leading to the village church and Hodnet Hall.
There is a traditional bar with log fires, a restaurant, 8 letting bedrooms and two function rooms suitable for weddings, conferences, meetings and entertainment as well as the well-known Medieval Banquets for which The Bear is famous.
